Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama (BCBSAL) is the largest provider of health care benefits in Alabama. BCBSAL provides coverage to more than 3 million people, more than 2.8 million of whom are PPO enrollees. Most of these members are Alabama residents enrolled through local programs.
