Sentara Healthcare (Sentara) is an eight hospital system in Virginia, anchored by its flagship hospital in Norfolk, a 563-bed tertiary care teaching facility, and home to the area's only Level I Trauma Center and burn trauma unit. Sentara Norfolk General is responsible for the region's only heart, kidney and pancreas transplant programs and a certified primary stroke center.
