(Kinray) started as a small pharmaceutical distributor based in Brooklyn in 1940 and was on the verge of closing when Stewart Rahr, current President and CEO took over the helm and began modernizing the Brooklyn facility. Mr. Rahr expanded Kinray's operations and moved the company to a 25,000 sq. ft. facility in Elmhurst, Queens in the early 1980's.
