Since its founding in 1983, Argus has grown from processing 1 million claims to processing more than 209 million claims for 24 million members. Argus processes hundreds of edits per second for more than 300,000 unique benefit plans. Argus employs 325 associates. Argus provides third-party transaction processing of pharmacy insurance claims for a large number of managed care organizations. Argus’ information warehouse consolidates data captured from its pharmacy point-of-service network that connects more than 60,000 pharmacies across the U.S. Argus’ primary clients are providers of pharmacy benefit plans.
